I have no idea how I first discovered this song… it just sort of came into my life the day that my mom called to tell me that my dog had died. I was away in Boston for college and I just cried and listened to this song on repeat for a day or two. I was so sad that I didn’t get to say goodbye to my dog and wished that I could talk to her to tell her I loved her. That experience sort of cemented this song in my heart.
